those folks are also some of my fave ppl, although i have to admit i haven't read many comics lately. its been a long time actually, maybe 20 years at least, er, god, maybe closer to 30 (i stopped reading comics when i was probably, um, i dunno, 13?, which would make it about 26/27 years) but man when i was a kid i read them all the time.

i think in a very real way the comics i read form a huge portion of my subconscious mind. in fact the novel thing i'm working on in my spare time has certain characters whose images are largely informed by some very old marvel comics drawings.

2 - So, how is the novel coming along? More to the point, are you willing to send me some "preview" stuff?
