Liz Olsen and Rob Novak are getting married today near Marco Island, Florida. I say "near" because they will actually having their ceremony on a sailboat offshore. I've got to hand it to Rob, the dude definately has class. My best wishes to the newlyweds for a wonderful, long, and happy life together.

I met Rob 3 or 4 years ago at a technical conference, although I'm pretty we crossed paths several years before that. The Lotus "community" is pretty small, and when you've been involved in it for many years, you start to "re-meet" folks. Rob is president of SNAPPS, and is also a technical editor for Lotus Advisor magazine.

I met Liz Olsen at the June 2002 Advisor DevCon in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a managing editor for Lotus Advisor Magazine, and is one of the people who provided me with a much needed "kick in the ass" careerwise a while back. In addition to her editorial work, she is also a contributing writer.

I think these two make a wonderful couple. If you've seen them together you know what I mean, they "fit" each other. Congratulations to both of them.

Now, I wonder who else is getting married soon?
