Category LS 2005Here I am in the Lotusphere 2005 Opening General Session, and Sir John Cleese is our special guest speaker. Very cool, very proper.
I and the rest of the audience really digged him. However, his appearance was somewhat overshadowed by the other surprise speaker.
We were treated to a special appearance by Ray Ozzie, father of Notes. It was pretty cool, but it makes me wonder why him, why now? Don't get me wrong, I have the upmost respect for Mr. Ozzie, and was one of the first people to play with Groove back in 2001. Which is I guess, why my curiosity has been piqued in this manner. Does this mean that Groove isn't panning out as it was hoped, and he is considering a return to Lotus? Or is it nothing more than he wanted to be here to celebrate the 20 year birthday of his brainchild?
