SML301: .NET Security from a Lotus Notes/Domino Developer's Point of View (Charlie Kauffman)

Charlie compared / contrasted the different security schemas used by Domino and .NET.  Surprisingly, they have more in common than I originally thought.  I enjoyed it very much; and learned quite a bit. For those of you who don't know, Charlie was Mr. Security for Lotus Notes/Domino, and now works in a very similar role at Microsoft. This means he knows what he is talking about.

SML203: Integrating Lotus Domino and Visual Studio .NET Web Services (Gary Devendorf & Marc Mercuri)

OK, I admit it.  Until today, I had not given much thought to Web Services, other than from an esoteric, "hmmm, sounds like a fancy name for something not worth bothering with" point of view.  I was wrong.  This session really got my attention, and I'm already planning on adding Web Services to several production applications.  I've been developing Lotus Notes/Domino applications since R3, and I have done some Visual Studio 6 development along the way; but with the exception of the advent of LotusScript, I don't think I've ever been as excited about a new (to me) technology in a long, long time.  Great session guys, thanks a bunch.
